HUGS Team Blog

I used to daydream about what I do now

It’s a Sunday morning, Tom and I woke up early to help move a giant table that was donated to the ladies to assist with their bead-work. These girls didn’t even know each other a few months ago but now they’re running a business and creating pieces that I know everybody gets a lot of joy from.

Currently there are 3 Shipibo women in the living room dressed in traditional garments of solid brightly coloured shirts with a ruffled circular fringe around the neck and unique Shipibo patterned skirts that remind me of a book of mazes I had when I was a child. They’re going to be collaborating with us, we can supply high quality vibrant coloured beads for them and they will teach us their traditional style (including how the pattern is telling a story or how it represents a song or Icaro).

The HUGS ground team could be considered a strange mish-mash of people who might not have ever come together except that we all felt pulled in our own way to arrive here in Peru somehow. We are a team of leaders but with no leader, each one of us recognizing our own power to effect change in ourselves and in doing so, we naturally attract others with these qualities.

I want to tell you a secret that won’t be secret for much longer…There is a movement happening in this world, a movement away from being led by others and a movement towards trusting your own heart.

I ask myself questions such as

What would I be doing if I could do anything at all?

*something that filled me up inside*

Where would I be?

*somewhere with palm trees*

Who would be there?

*people I thought of like a team or family*

This is dream-scaping for me; I imagine what I would most like in my world and then I notice how it gets fulfilled. After some integration I can imagine again from the new place. It’s not uncommon lately for me to ask those questions again and have the answers come back *this*, *here*, *everybody who is in my life*… this tells me I’m in an integration phase.

I met up with HUGS immediately after I moved to Peru and it just fit. While we’re not a large group, it is a strong group. We all bring different skill sets to the table;

  • Dani creates amazing bead work, is a trained chef and is like a lightening rod for networking with people, she also does some blogging and content writing for the website. (multiligual)
  • Christina is another great chef and also creates amazing bead work, she provides blogging and visual design assistance with the website as well.
  • Tom is our video creator and editor, he excels at network relations and decision making. (Tom add your own piece here regarding innersolution, healings etc)
  • Kathy is a Peruvian native (Lima) and provides tremendous help with translating and local business relationships, she also handles the Instagram section of our site and we’re very impressed with her camera skills. She also creates amazing beadwork and supports our educational initiatives here in Tarapoto.
  • Taj is our go-to guy for video, content writing, business contacts and relationship building. He is a Social Entrepreneur and is dedicated to supporting our work to become thriving and successful.
  • and this writer Trevor, I am living my dream out here constructing the online palace that will be HUGS,  living in Tarapoto (the “City of Palms” -I did imagine palm trees!), connected with a network of like-minded individuals who feel like family.

The dream from here is to build a HUGE network of people who are waking up to the power inside of themselves to create the changes they want. This is no small feat and the ones who are drawn here have done some self work and dreaming of their own. We want HUGS to be a hub, a hangout spot both offline and online while you learn to bring forth the greatest version of you.  Solution-based problem solving is encouraged here, in fact it’s the “S” in Humans Unifying Global Solutions. We’re not oblivious to “problems” we just choose to feed solutions and operate from that space.

At the time of writing this we have not yet officially received our non-profit 501c(3) status but please consider us as such.  With all of our projects, funding and energy, we will be able to create a sustainable and stable environment for us that starts with the basic necessities of life such as clean water, healthy food, shelter and love. Together we support each other to achieve these most basic of needs so we can expand to the next level (which is thriving). As we expand on our model, naturally symbiotic businesses begin to emerge that allow us to become producers and sellers of our favorite things!

List of current endeavors

Hostel

To be accessed by the HUGS community as an intermediary spot (between housing or healing retreats) and prices will be subsidized so just the cost of running the establishment is maintained.

Beads

This business is off and running already and the orders are pouring in thanks to the quality work put out by Dani and Christina. Our next level is working with traditional Shipibo tribe, to get them a fair wage for the work they do while also educating us on the rich culture behind this tradition.

Coconut

We have access to a coconut factory that creates the best Coconut oil in Tarapoto, their by-product is cakes of pressed coconut shavings that is excellent for making flour and coconut milk and we are able to start utilizing it.

Cacao

Local farmers are unfairly massively underpaid (so much for “Fair-trade”) for this raw material. The quality of the bean here is what they call “B grade” currently. We would like to work directly with the farmers to produce an “A grade” bean to be able to produce the worlds best chocolate. 🙂

Website

In alignment with our offline missions we also look to continue our model of a sustainable community online. We’re fusing well known networking tools like email, forums, instant messaging and blogging with the power of a new paradigm where we group together to be role models for what’s possible in the world. Keeping in mind this is all non-profit so everything that comes in flows right back out again which is what sustainability is about; a system that supports itself easily.

I wrote this blog with the intention of making clear what we are doing and where we are headed. To make it short and sweet, we believe something beautiful is happening in our hearts that can no longer be ignored. For those who see it, hear it, feel it please know that your not alone.

 My Kundalini Activation

I can I remember when I first got deep into Sevan Bomars works. It was very early in 2012 I discovered a talk on in5d. The title was Opening the Pineal gland in 2012 from back when he was still on blog-talk radio.

guru-rinpoche

The day before, I had just done a deep tantric meditation visualizing Padma Sambhava, which I now see really had allowed me to begin to merge withe the “christic solar forces” within. I had just arrived in the mountains of Northern California after a soul retrieval ceremony was performed by a good friend of mine Liza Hunter, during a Solar Eclipse at the Symbiosis gathering. The timing could not have been more perfect. I had left Colorado’s wild mile high lifestyle in pursuit of a great spiritual change which I knew had been coming my whole life. But that was the timing that was meant to be. As I listed to the talk, I instantly felt things unlocking. It was like a frequency wave to tune into, and they you were off on a train ride through consciousness. Never before had I experienced someone talking about such advanced spiritual topics, but yet in a way that was some how so grounded and practical.

The next few months I spent diving into everything in Sevans archives, along with anyone I could see connected to him, or that I ran into on the resistance website. I followed all his regimen and meditation suggestions, supplements etc. Every morning I was waking up at dawn even though it was freezing cold some times, doing Kundalini yoga. Fruit and vegetable juice fasting during the Complete Internal Cleanse. One day I received my first order of Shilijit and Etherium Gold. As we had to drive into town to pick up the mail, I took them in the car on the ride back, excited to feel any effects they had. At that moment, I instantly felt a frequency in the center of my head. It was like I could hear, and feel it at the same time. After some time later I have discovered this is called the Anahat sound. My own personal frequency had raised high enough that I could now perceive it. After this everything really changed, and my Kundalni activation really commenced. I traveled to Peru to live with Juan Gabriel a well known Qero Shaman, met fellow HUGS founder Taj. And finally after winning a contest on the Resistance 2010 website, working apprentice ship with Sevan Bomar at his home in Costa Rica.

While I have been studying deep esoteric wisdom, philosophies, entheogens and many related topics since I was a child now. It was because of Sevans information and the connections to my current spiritual family such as Luis Diaz and Kishuan from the Resistance website that I was finally able to see the choices I needed to make, to activate and become sovereign. Since I have been away from Costa Rica, now developing a number of projects such as HUGS and Innerversal Solutions, along with enjoying my amazing new wife. I have been so happy to see many of the things that just started to develop and come out of conversations that were had when I was living there. The Secret Energy site, and especially the Innerversity.

 The Inneversity

I have now been a part of every class of the first semester except the final one which is in a couple hours. I have to say, my brother has truly out done himself once again. One of my only qualms ever, if you even wanna call it that, is that when Sevan delivers on a show, it tends to jump around so much. I am fully aware that this is only due to how he is able to transmit the freshest most organic type message live on a show must be done in such a way. Having tuned into this frequency with him, something I continue to develop in myself to this day. I can say its just the way it must be sometimes.

But as with all things especially a schooling. Things must be taken from a certain starting point, that is going to be the best place to guide people from there on out when it. This as you can imagine is most difficult to pinpoint, especially considering we are dealing with information related to the Kabal, which is a Cable connecting at both ends. So where to begin?

This Innerversity although the classes are deemed 101 classes, considering the level of an average persons knowledge of these types of subjects, these courses could also be considered very advanced. I myself have studied these topics for years, and still find my self getting much of the information I need out of little along the way. Especially now that it has been put in such a step by step manner.

Class number one is Celestial Mechanics. This is the perfect place to start, as it gives the student the map. It shows that we truly are the microcosm of all that is. Sevan appropriately begins with the big bang, which is explained in its true esoteric sense which takes place in the sexual union, and our relationship to each other. Sevan first paints the picture of externally ( where most people tend to look ) and then brings the student back to the body showing them clearly that they are inside of this much needed map for the rest of the journey. He then goes on to explain time, and both external and internal alchemy. And of course showing how all these are interconnected. The last section touches on humans true origins coming from the ocean and space.

The second course Cosmic Dietetics goes into things a bit deeper, explaining the subjective inner realms relationship to our self, and the external realms as well. Showing the class now clearly what the true essence of the planets are, how they are related to the glands, organs and etherically to the chakras on our body. How we can start to master over these internal energies.  In his section on Prime Global he clearly out lines how the portals of the body allow things in and out of the central command center of our head and how the choices made at these ports determine the directions or travel, your frequency, and the amount of power for interstellar travel. Finally also how our path through these planetary spheres shape and mold our essence as we come into this reality.

Course number 3 is Deprogramming. In this course Sevan outlines very clearly the groups, forces, and entities on this dimension that have for thousands of years in this dimension been manipulating whats going on on this plane. The Nazi origins of the current schooling program still present today in modern schools alot of which has been moved onto the United States and other western countries. This history of the these peoples, the power battles, and how all those elite are really playing for the same team, which is truly controlled on the spiritual plane. But most noted, also shows the ways out of this silly game, and how the true power is within, and the “theys” true lack of power because they really only make us believe they have this power, thus giving them our power and ability.

Next, we are on to cleansing and purification. This course both clearly shows the student why it is so key to cleanse and purify the glands, organs, planets, chakras, and inherently the vehicle with which we experience and create the innerverse with which we live in. How the consumption of animal plasma can effect our experiences. Also a great demonstration of the Astral Hygiene.

Current and currency is next up on the list. The sexual force and fertility being the true fist origin of energy on the planet. How this has changed and been manipulated over time. Also how someones lack of currency in this realm can be traced back to lack of current in the body. In this class we also see how principles of alchemy creating gold out of something such as lead,  has been used to turn a paper, what was once not worth as much can be transformed. Very similar to how we as humans can develop a sustainable source of energy interally just on ideas alone if we can hone our imagination.

Tantra-3

In breathing and Tantra. Sevan gets into the basics of Tantra, clearly showing how Tantra can been seen as something much more then just the typical view of Sexual interactions between couples, showing that all things have sexual relationships with one another. Including that of our own sexual relationship with the reality itself. Our consciousness being inherently the male aspect to the female aspect of the reality impregnating it with our actions and existence. We also then got into details about the true meanings of the Siddhis, or the abilities that come along with building the inner current to higher and higher degree’s. We finish with a number of great breathing techniques. The last of which is so powerful, there must be a disclaimer. I for the first time with a breathing technique made it fully out of body, releasing a well known chemical neurotransmitter related to dreaming naturally in my brain that night.

Language-and-DNA-30Second to last we have DNA transformation and Language. Etymology is always amazing with Sevan. His first major topics in the spiritual realm, and arguably his best. The student will clearly learn, and see how the languages we are using these days are incomplete, lacking the pieces that describe and alter the innerversal realms. We are also shown how the languages we use inter ally are what are programming our DNA, and causing much of our development and evolution.

Over all, I have to say that is a one of a kind school. I have yet to be aware of any where else. One can receive such advanced information (while also ancient) explained in such a user friendly way. The courses are cataloged in video format allowing revisiting. Many of the courses have manuals. Some have suggested outside reading and viewing suggestions. All courses come with a downloadable packet of relative imagery to assist the student. Some courses come with Sevans personal practices, regimens, and suggestions for products and supplements, many of them I must ad are not carried by in the Secret Energy stores, only being suggested because they are known to work and be needed.

This semester has been put together with the utmost precision. I am so excited to continue this journey and schooling, preparing one literally for the rest of existence and eternity. Leaving the student empowered to go on and co-create new worlds, with a clear and activated mind, body and soul. I would recommend this school to anyone I know. It is some of the best investment one could make on their journey. The prices are also more then reasonable considering what other schools these days cost, that many of which only contain brain washing Mk-Ultra influenced materials anyways. My only hopes for a change to the school is that at one point I will be privileged to assist teaching a course.

Wholistic and Balanced Lifestyle

On of HUGS six pillars is a Wholistic and Balanced Lifestyle. The way that this all relates to HUGS is vast, but I will out line the most pertinent. I feel that in order to really build any sort of sustainable community, that will last in this world. One must first become whole internally. If one is left divided, and unaware of the mechanics of the inner and outer worlds. I don’t see how a group could ever come together in a way that was lasting and sustainable. I would like to see these teachings, along with a number of other methods that I am learning along the way, be some of the required courses to enter into the HUGS community fully. We hear and witness over and over again while working to build this community, that the number one reason for these types of projects failing, is because the people just can’t come together. I can not see how these teachings could not be an integral part of that process.

We will be featuring a special group and forum section on the Infinite Solutions forum. This way those in the HUGS community can have some guidance on these topics, and also collaborate with the Secret Energy project. I see more and more those SE seekers activating, looking to get involved with the many projects and opportunities that we will be doing at HUGS.

That being said, I would also love to see a HUGS Innerversity project. This would both fund the Innerversity, while also providing more scholarships to students that need it. Allowing for Scholarships to be provided, without coming out of the pocket of Sevan and his family as I know they are now directly. Beings as HUGS is a non-profit, we could actually begin to look for grant funding to assist with the further development of the Innerverstity as well. This funding could also in part, go to making a physical location for Innerversity students to come and study in a environment most conducive to learning this materials. Like minded students or already experienced teachers could be present to assist them, along with the space to be able to fully incorporate the cleansing and detox, also experimenting with related fringe areas, such as water purification, or the sensory deprivation tank project HUGS already has planned. For this all to occur however, first a detailed plan must be created and presented to the Innerversity.

Either way, I am excited to see the further developments of the Innversity and Secret Energy and all of Sevans projects. I am excited to continue to assist development in whatever way I can. If you read this article and any of these teachings or information interest you. I do offer personal coaching and guidance through the courses and materials via my position as a Specialist with Secret Energy and website Innerversal Solutions. Awakening on the path: Flawless Defense

Awakening to ideas and concepts that not long ago seemed well past ridiculous…

I once met a woman who told me the strangest thing. She said she did not lock her doors to her home or car because she did not give power to fear (paraphrasing). I was immediately both repelled and intrigued by this notion. On one hand I felt that while she might be getting some temporary satisfaction from not worrying it, it would only be a matter of time before she had her house broken into or her car stolen and then the illusion would be broken. I would have made this judgement and went along my un-merry way, if she wasn’t my teacher for Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). I gained much respect for her when one day she helped facilitate some serious self-healing for me through a technique that is known as “Parts Integration”.

Though I could write several blogs just on this one subject I am not here to do that. The quick version is that I sat in a chair and as best I could, projected a “feeling that always seemed to be looming over me” at another chair across from me. It was all a little confusing as to what the heck we were up to at first, until she asked me to sit in the other chair. When I sat down I felt different immediately. My blood boiled and I felt a kind of anger rise up that I would deny every existed in me… if it just wasn’t so familiar. I knew when I felt this way, when I was a teenager I felt like this. I must have suppressed it at some point because I knew I actually didn’t express my anger very well (it was very stifled). Now that it was clear , I was able to then forgive myself for both feeling that way, but also for suppressing it. The world seemed like quite an inhumane place and a frustrated child can turn into an angry teenager. I was smart enough to recognize that that kind of anger could land me in jail for most of my life, so somehow I “stuffed it away”.

It may seem counter intuitive but after that experience I became much more in touch with my anger. This was actually a very therapeutic process, as I had been in denial of its very existence before that. Another thing I learned from this woman after that experience is that there are actually:

 4 Stages to Consciousness

1.Unconscious Incompetence

The individual does not understand or know how to do something and does not necessarily recognize the deficit. They may deny the usefulness of the skill. The individual must recognize their own incompetence, and the value of the new skill, before moving on to the next stage. The length of time an individual spends in this stage depends on the strength of the stimulus to learn.

2.Conscious Incompetence

Though the individual does not understand or know how to do something, he or she does recognize the deficit, as well as the value of a new skill in addressing the deficit. The making of mistakes can be integral to the learning process at this stage.

3.Conscious Competence

The individual understands or knows how to do something. However, demonstrating the skill or knowledge requires concentration. It may be broken down into steps, and there is heavy conscious involvement in executing the new skill.

4.Unconscious Competence

The individual has had so much practice with a skill that it has become “second nature” and can be performed easily. As a result, the skill can be performed while executing another task. The individual may be able to teach it to others, depending upon how and when it was learned.

This woman had brought me from stage 1 to stage 2 of addressing my anger, once I became conscious of it, I could take over the “awakening” from there. Maybe there could be something to this after all, feeling like I received much more than I paid for (when does that ever happen?). I had to give her credit but of course I put it to the back of my mind and there it stayed for years.

Awakening with Ayahuasca

Several years later as I was training a client, he asked me if I had ever heard of “Ayahuasca”. I admitted that I hadn’t and he informed me that it was some kind of Shaman drink that’s used for healing in South America. At that time, I was consciously incompetent about loving myself and thought that it sounded pretty intense (which I like). I flew to Iquitos, Peru a few months later with him to stay at a jungle lodge for 3 weeks and to partake in 10 Ayahuasca ceremonies. I have written many blogs on this topic, but I am not here for that either. The short version of this experience is that Ayahuasca both healed me and gave me the “Secrets of The Universe”…

I will share a little more of these “secrets” since they are for everyone!

1.Everything I have ever experienced, was and is PERFECT because it has led me to now.

2.There is one consciousness [of all] split into many, that seemingly have individual experiences while still being a part of the whole. You are everything, and you are no thing. Imagine 7.3 Billion people (reference) on Earth each having a unique experience from their point-of-view but also sharing in the collective experience of one (like atoms, to cells, to organs).

3.You do not die. In fact, you are infinite. Look no further than The law of conservation of energy, also known as the first law of thermodynamics for proof.

There is obviously much much more to share but this good for now. I finally could innerstand why my teacher did not lock her doors, she didn’t give power to her fears. I have now had experiences that have shown me personally that security comes from knowing you CANNOT be harmed. When you can’t be harmed, you leave your security system un-armed. Let me be VERY clear; this doesn’t mean I won’t ever get robbed or attacked. It just means I’m going to have unique experiences as an infinite being, I’d rather leave fear out of it as a future or past marker and enjoy the flawlessness of no defense. The idea that- What do I have to keep out? What am I defending against? What do I need to protect? My property? -I don’t own any. My “things”? -I sold most of it to exchange for my experiences. My life? -I am infinite! The life of a loved one? -So are they!

Awakening for me NOW is integration with others. I encourage you to not take on this information as YOUR truth or to blindly regurgitate it as a known fact. It is MY experience and it is true for me. Maybe this will lead you to have some of your own experiences!

Following Your Intuition Part 3

School in session

Update #3

Some of you have been waiting for the new blog and It’s not for a lack of things to talk about that I’ve been waiting, I simply haven’t felt like writing. We lost the use of our camera (phone) we brought with us and until it’s replaced we will have to rely on the borrowing of friends cameras (thank you to Tom for loaning us his iPhone for the time being).

Things are up and down for me out here…
I came here on intuition which means that I have no clue what the next day will bring or how any of it fits together. It’s within me to give my life meaning and it is within me to find joy or sorrow in that meaning. I must admit that on the days where I perceive little has been accomplished, I worry that maybe my intuition is broken and I must “do something” to correct it…

My senses are bombarded when I look at the huge sky and multicolored flowers everywhere, my ears strain to translate this beautiful language and I feel exhausted after only a couple hours of interacting with my supremely positive housemates. If another person were to share these insights with me I would shout “What a high-quality problem you have!”, in the experiencing of it I must admit I struggle to take it all in.

The school house

A few days ago Christina and I said yes to helping out at a school house being prepared and the word “painting” was used in an unexpected way. We arrived early in the morning with Rebecca and were handed two bags and a shovel. Confused but eager, we followed our host down a path to a hole behind a barbed-wire fence. There was nothing but rocks and red clay on the other side and we were instructed to dig up the clay and put it in the bag… Fresh with morning energy I attacked the clay only to find it had rained the day before and it was hard to get a foothold. Whenever I took a step, I sunk my shoes deeper and deeper into the muck. I would not be undone- I filled my bag about half way before I checked for weight… OMG! This half-full bag must have weighed about 100lbs and I could only move it a couple steps before I had to drop it.

Qechu

I finally got it through the barbed-wire fence, I he-manned it the rest of the way over my head and with only 20 minutes into our adventure I was covered head to toe in muck and leaking sweat like I had just gone for a jog in saran wrap! The “painting” part came soon after- the red clay was mixed with sand and water to form some kind of plaster and we applied it with our hands to the outside of the school walls. I learned a few things about natural clay that day and a little something about mental preparation 🙂

Inti

I think this is a good time to temper the ass whooping I received at the school with what brings me joy every single day and that’s the animals around the house. Two of the housemates, Tom and Danielle, came with animals- two puppies and a kitten to be exact (Inti, Qechu and Scree)! The puppies spend most of their time sleeping but wake up just long enough to eat and fight each other like two drunk babies. The kitten on the other hand is mostly a blur but stops long enough to headbutt your leg if you have any food.

We received a visitor a few days ago when a tall, skinny Frenchman showed up at our door and asked to stay. He had just come out of the jungle where he spent 6 weeks following a strict dieta and he was dizzy and confused. Nobody was quite sure how he found his way to us but strange occurrences are the norm here. This interesting tri-lingual (French, English, Spanish) fellow peaked my curiosity so I inquired as to what he was doing in the jungle and how he arrived in this place (there seems to be a common thread when you listen to how we all found each other).

Scree

Alexandre explained that he felt compelled to leave France to explore different parts of the world learning about permaculture. He has a passion for inner knowing that was cultivated through Vipassanā meditation techniques. When he first came to Peru, a close friend took him to an Ayahuasca ceremony and he’s been following the instructions of a Shaman since then. He isn’t allowed to shower in cold water or walk in the rain right now and he arrived with cockroaches falling out of his bags. This “jungle hobo” has showed us how to improve our Aquaponics system and he makes the most interesting food stuffs out of foraged plants from the  neighborhood.

San Roque

Future Aquaponics station in San Roque

This week, there was a trip to the jungle town of San Roque, where Dave is in talks with the mayor and believes this is the perfect spot to implement his master plan. Utilizing the water surrounding the town to bring hydro-electric power to the town for free while creating a giant aquaponics system (this is already partially completed). Implementing a better recycling program that entices the locals to exchange their waste for “credits” that can be used to buy things locally, he then takes the bio-waste to create a rich, fertile soil called Bokashi and non bio-waste gets packed into plastic bottles that are then used as bricks for building… FULL recycling.

The reason he picked this town is because the fresh water that runs down the mountain side is the head water supply not just for this town but continues all the way to where we are in Tarapoto. Dave would like San Roque to be a shining example of what is possible in the new paradigm and this is just the beginning!

The Dynamics of Homeostasis Part 1.

This blog is intended to introduce a framework, a way of innerstanding reality, the internal and external realities. Much of this write ups intent is to plant seeds, spur further research, and to prepare someone for much deeper learning and modalities of healing that will be later introduced in other blogs or videos.

The Force.

“I teach the integral way of uniting with the great an mysterious Tao. My teachings are simple, if you try to make a religion or science of them, they will elude you. Profound yet plain, they contain the entire truth of the universe…” Lao Tzu

THE LIFE ENERGY…..Ancient Egyptians called it KA, Chinese CHI, Tibetains LA, Hebrews RUAH, Lakota WONIYA WAKIN, Cree OENIKIKA, Iroquios ORENDA, Mayans IK, Polynesians MANNA…

In the classic movie Starwars it was called the force. Everything that exists has this energy at its foundation. The raising of our consciousness, vibrational frequency, activation of the bodies, achievement of our will, or something as simple as smiling. All things require this energy.

An imbalance in the bodies homeostasis occurs when an organ (planet) or system of organs becomes either hyper (too much energy) or hypo (not enough energy).

The loss of an electron from its atom begins the process of energetic imbalance.
A free radical is an atom that has lost its electron.  Balanced Electrons orbit atoms as planets orbit the sun and other stars. Atoms (ADAMS) missing their electrons (EVES) will steal from other atoms, this begins the process of disease….

Balancing the elements… Liver (wood) Heart (fire) Spleen (earth) Lungs(metal) and Kidneys (water)

 FiveElementTheory17x22

The elements in the body can be brought into balance first and foremost by a systematic cleansing of the bodies organ and glandular system. Removing many toxins, blockages, parasites and addictions (these things can appear as spirits on the astral plane, or to a person with an active third eye).  Once cleansed and healed the organs can then begin to vibrate in more harmonic frequencies with the corresponding larger astrological bodies in the universe organism at large. One can then begin to introduce more refined alchemical elixirs, herbs, spagyrics, monotomics and elements to bring one into more refined states of activation and awareness.Eventually the goal is to move past all these external elements, needing nothing more then consciousness, attention and will to navigate energy from the internal source to heal and activate latent inner abilities and healing. These external alchemical elixirs are really tools, providing one with a example or a benchmark of what is really possible. A reminder for many of us that have been deactivated.

Their planets in TCM(traditional Chinese medicine) and Taoist Teaching…
Heart (Mars) Spleen (Saturn) Lungs (Venus) kidneys (Mercury) liver (Jupiter)

Homeostasis Personal and Planetary

Homeostasis is the bodies ability (physical, mental, and spiritual) to remain physiologically stable  in the face of a changing environment ( both internal and external )

An individual can not get sick or die when homeostasis is maintained. This applies to all bodies, including plants, animals and even planets. Envision oneself in a state of wholeness as the environment around you becomes as a tempest, but you still remain unmoved. And because of the laws that exist in this universe with the micro and macro levels. In order for homeostasis to take place one a planetary level, or a universal level, it first must start with the self, and then will spiral out from there.

Homeostasis is  controlled by the Autonomic Nervous System (the bodies network that automatically directs the flow of life-force energy) and the endocrine system (which is also under control of the ANS is further divided into the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Nervous Systems). Trance states engage the PNS by bringing the brain into certain brain wave patterns such as an Alpha state. This can be done with or without someone being aware, such as in the case of Television, or music.55028-004-BBF22B4C

Certain modalities like yogic breathing techniques, tantra, meditation, monotomics, and dreaming etc…induce states of trance or allow the left and right hemispheres of the brain to communicate on a both a physical and a quantum and etheric level, in a way that one can be reprogrammed to engage the normally less dominant Parasympathetic Nervous system (Homeostasis can only occur when this system is more dominant).  Once in a trance state, the PNS is engaged and the normally automatic functions of the body can then be  brought under conscious control. Potentially allowing for reprogramming of habits, general healing, raising and lowering bodies levels of heat by consciously re-directing blood flow, releasing of normally inactive chemical compounds, among various others.

 AURICLE = ORACLE

”Were all hEAR to do what were all HEAR to do….”                   l

In Auricular practices, the brain is recognized as an organic computer that is connected to every cell in the body, and there for the universe at large, and controls the various physiological functions of the body. The auricle (ear) is viewed as both the keyboard to the brain computer and as the monitor.

Certain frequencies can be applied to known and tested points the ear to communicate with the brain computer, and therefore the rest of the body. These frequencies have been found to heal energy blockages, take away pain, cause healing and activation of glands, organs, scars, numerous diseases.

Working with these same frequencies applied to the ear, it has also been found that one can more quickly be taught to learn advanced yogic techniques such as Tibetan Tummo , sometimes as quickly as weeks, rather then typically years it might normally take.

Biofeedback and Bioenergetics make use of instruments to give feedback to the healer and the client, physiological information to allow either the healer or the client to restore homeostasis. These devices can show specifically where disturbances in the individuals Electromagnetic Field exist including all the major chakras on the body, there by allowing these disturbances to be brought back into balance.

Factors that bring the vehicle out of homeostasis

Mental (emotional, behavioral)

Chemical ( toxins, nutrition )torus-galactic-128-1
Structure ( genetic, accidental, lack of exercise and movement)
Spiritual ( stealing, lying, unethical behavior, feelings of disconnection with the earth or the spiritual planes)

These factors cause the production of free radicals, free radicals are electrons that are not working in harmony with the rest of the body which cause disease.

The goal is to first bring the individuals back to homeostasis, and then as a result since we are all cells inside the greater organism and body of this planet, collectively the homeostasis of the planet and beyond can be achieved.

Following your intuition part 2

Planting Seeds
First, we are no longer staying at the hostel, we have officially moved in to Mission I’m Possible headquarters and we are welcome here for the rest of our stay (3 months)! The head-honcho Dave Stewart is a force to be reckoned with and his partner Rebecca (who speaks very little English) keeps us striving to learn Spanish, constantly engaging in conversation. Not only am I learning Spanish out of necessity but I’m also becoming more animated and clever with my gestures when words fail me.

Dave refuses to charge us rent, instead suggested that we donate what we think is fair to one of his many projects. Christina and I are on a shoe string budget so this form of barter was a blessing. We negotiated S/.1200 (roughly $600.00 CAD) to improve the water “situation” at the headquarters and to set up our bedroom.

It’s important to mention here that the city water only comes on in the morning before 9am and again later in the evening. This water is okay to use for washing clothes, showers, cleaning and dishes, but is not for drinking (for that they collect rain water which was stored in a couple of 20 gallon jugs). With the money we donated, we were able to buy a 750 gallon tank (replacing his 250 gallon one) for the storage of city water which means even when the place is full with 6 people we will be able to have water ALL DAY!!

Not only that, but we are going to use the 250 gallon tank for the rain water and attach a filter to that as well. As a bonus, we were able to attach the toilet (before this we used a bucket to fill the toilet tank), washing machine and even install a second shower (outdoor head soaker)! I had zero plumbing skills but I tried my best to be a helpful assistant as there is never a shortage of things to do.

The living conditions are SO different from home, it’s much more open concept- where most of us would have a hallway, my place has open sky and a garden. If it’s raining I can open my bedroom door and get splashed! Some would look at this place and call it a hovel and could be right- the roof is made of metal sheets, there are bugs everywhere and you can’t drink the water out of the tap- but the things that get done here are game changers.
(yes that is a puppy sleeping on the table)

Rebecca has created a school here for the local children to learn traditional crafts, gardening and even some English. A lot of these children are left alone (or with relatives) during the day by their parents when they go to work, so this provides them with some projects to focus on and they certainly seem to enjoy all of it. I didn’t think I would enjoy having a bunch of kids around but they are polite, upbeat and enjoy practicing English with us.

Seeds are being planted in our garden but they’re also being planted in the streets. I see the roots reaching our neighbors and their children and I can only imagine what kind of beautiful flowers will bloom!
When we first arrived here there was this little boy, Bernardo- he’s much younger than the other children (maybe 2 years old)- he never smiled or laughed. I was told his home life was abusive and I recognized distrust in his eyes whenever I smiled and said “Ola”. Yesterday Dave grabbed him by the arms and swung him out in front of himself as he walked to the bathroom and he started laughing! Rebecca bought him a tiny plastic truck (Dave reprimanded her as he detests cheap plastic trinkets), she smiled at me and said “Bernardo!” and gestured a huge grin with her fingers and winked. Bernardo had that truck in his hand all day, playing in the dirt! Dave was right, it is a tiny plastic piece of crap, and if it puts a smile on Bernardo’s face… it’s gold.

Following your intuition part 1

This first blog will most likely be the longest since we have so much ground to cover to bring you up to speed on how I have arrived in this place and why.
Hell that’s a great title;

HOW I HAVE ARRIVED IN THIS PLACE AND WHY

It’s 2am in Tarapoto, Peru and I’ve come to the realization I’m not the slightest bit tired (I’m sure it has nothing to do with the “Inca Kola” I consumed before bed). I’m not usually one for staying up late but since I am up I might as well take advantage of it….Commence blog mode!

This isn’t my first time in Peru (it’s my second) though this will certainly be the longest- we are scheduled for a 3 month visit. I came here about 3 years ago based on a conversation I had with a client, who mentioned there was a strange drink that came from the amazon administered by Shamans and known to cure ailments both physical and mental. It’s hard to condense the experience I had down to something palatable for a blog so keep this is mind as I attempt to do just that.
I’m deeply interested in knowing myself better, not because of any altruistic traits but because I have always seemed to be at the mercy of my thoughts (much like Tourettes Syndrome these thoughts never seemed to have anything nice to say).
Because of this interest in knowing more about my brain box, I’ve accumulated several modalities through my life that have been MOST helpful (Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP for short and Faster Emotionally Focused Transformations or FEFT for short) and I’ve been able to use these modalities to not only help myself but my clients as well. This was important in my decision to go to Peru because I have already had some very positive experiences in my life that let me know changes could be quick and powerful.

I hopped on a plane to Peru with hopes that I might silence the whispers of inferiority that still persisted…
What I received from that trip and more specifically the brew was nothing short of miraculous. I communicated with what I believe to be a plant entity. It communicated with words, visions, feelings and did it all with a loving but stern demeanor. I was shown how powerful my thoughts were, I was shown how I was holding a kind of anxious desperate energy and was instructed to “take it down a notch”, I was told I am a healer and a builder and when I questioned those facts I was shown how I have been doing it my entire life with snippets from my memory (some I hadn’t consciously accessed in years).
The third time drinking this brew I had a VERY brief vision of some insect or parasitic looking (some kind of cross between a squid and a flea), I inquired to this plant spirit about what I had witnessed and was informed it was not important for me to dwell on it (I asked 3 more times anyway and got the same reply every time). This event wouldn’t of been anything special except that after that 3rd session I literally felt a weight come of my shoulders and a peace like I have never experienced before….AND IT DIDN’T GO AWAY!!

I am not in any way shape or form saying that I don’t still struggle with my internal workings but this was like taking a 20lb weight off my shoulders that I had been carrying around as long as I could remember and not only that but the constant internal chatter had stopped.
I went home most grateful with a renewed sense of wonder at how much I really did not understand about this world.

That was 3 years a go and nothing has been the same since, It hasn’t been easy in fact it’s been the most challenging 3 years I can remember because I’m constantly receiving download like information and sometimes that information requires me to unlearn behaviors that I’ve been doing as long as I can remember.
I’ve  been learning how to follow my intuition and differentiate it from thought, it’s lead me back to Peru to meet and greet with others and though their experiences are quite different than mine all had events that lead them to this same place.
I know I’m here to volunteer for some VERY interesting projects that I will share in future blogs, I also know I’m here to network with some of the most interesting people I’ve ever met.
Today I walked around the city getting lost (luckily I’m close to a major landmark -Hospitalia), after asking for directions 3 times I finally found my way back. The locals stare at me like I’m purple and my Spanish is about 20 words so as a true Canadian I make sure to end all my interactions with lots of mucho gracias  😀

As an animal lover I’m really enjoying the sheer number of dogs on the streets though a lot of them aren’t domesticated like back home (I’m finding it strange that about 99% have no interest in my excellent petting hands). Their world revolves around other animals and the occasional food handout
so I guess my two choices are to slowly earn their trust on a case by case basis or some create some kind of dog outfit with special pockets for meat.
It’s 4:30am and I can tell by my last paragraph that I’m pretty much ready for sleep now. I’ll check back in a week with lots of details and more pics!

MONKEY BUSINESS IN PERU!!!

Cerelias Project-Monkey Rescue with Orlando and MIP PERU

Update from Dani

My second day here in Tarapoto I arrived at the Peru office of Mission I’m Possible (MIP) and saw the tiny model of the Dry Toilet. This dry toilet designed by Dave Stewart of MIP, would be used as a model to be replicated at multiple projects around the Jungle here in Peru. But first to be installed at the monkey rescue named Cerelias Project. A project here in the Amazon that would serve as a testing ground for a number of these types of technologies.

The system includes: a rain collection tank, shower, sink, toilet, dry compost and biodigestor, complete with biochar. This system is not only sustainable but it actually fertilizes your garden and the biochar acts as a filter also cleansing the Earth. The design is very comprehensive and easy to assemble, as we need it to be so other people can replicate it, especially in remote locations, where it is difficult to get tools and resources.
This will liberate those who are currently dependent on the city water (which is only turned on twice a day from 6am-9am and again at 6pm-9pm). And we are in the RAINFOREST! Why don’t these people have these everywhere already??? I mean really why are they paying the city to provide them with water when they could just collect the water that falls on their property.

We started construction of this model a month later in the front of the house here, gathering lots of attention from the local Peruvians wondering what the gringos are doing, cut the wood, painted the toilet (complete with an ancient design from Chisuta), prepared the tubing, made the biochar, took it down, packed it up and found our first location; a monkey rescue in Cerelias.

Dry Toilet Contstruction

Orlando is a selfless man living with the rescued monkeys deep in the jungle. He lives without electricity, running water, and there aren’t any stores or food sources anywhere close. He has a small structure where he sleeps and cooks and he just put up some netting around it with some kindergarten scissors so now the monkeys won’t steal his things. He used to have a monkey that would steal his favorite cucharitas (very tiny spoons essential for putting sugar in coffee 🙂 and a different monkey would bring them back. So needless to say, he lives in a pretty rustic situation. Luckily he does have the river at the bottom of his hill and he goes into town for a few hours once a month to get his food and any other supplies. The land he lives on used to be an area back in the Cocaine days of the 1980’s. Back then the people grew so much coca and they ate the monkeys, specifically the black spider monkeys. The government decided to be very aggressive in trying to end the drug war so they fumigated all the known coca locations. Unfortunately this killed many other things besides the coca and contaminated the land and rivers. Because of this, the land was inhabitable for many years and there are no fruit trees left. Many other animals died as well from drinking the contaminated rivers.

So we have everything ready to go but how do we get it there? It’s about a 3 hour UPHILL hike on the way there and you cross the river, Rio Mayo, 14 times! Moto’s and cars won’t do. Helicopters? No, the path is too remote and no where to land or drop the materials. Horses? They can’t cross the rivers and some parts of the path are way too tricky. We asked the local police and they couldn’t help. Last ditch effort was to ask the government if their army could help. Come to find out they have a special branch in their army called the Eco-Guerrillas (Eco-warriors specially dedicated to protect the jungle). They agreed to have 40 men help trek the materials out to the location. With 40 men it was still going to be two trips EACH with all the stuff. This was an excellent solution and we were really excited to get there. We scheduled for them to pick up the materials the next Saturday and we would go ourselves to assemble it the following week. Saturday comes and it rains hard so nobody could go anywhere. This river grows very fast and even with only a half hour of heavy rain it is not passable. We had to reschedule about 4 or 5 times due to the rain. When the Eco Guerrillas were finally able to go, they had gone down in number from 40 men to 12 men. They were amazing and some of them did double trips in just one day! They took most of the materials there and now it was our turn to go out and assemble.

As usual and to be expected here in Peru, we rescheduled our trip at least 5 times. There’s seven of us: Tom and I (from USA), Dave (England), Rebeca (Columbia), Christina and Trevor (Canada) and Alejandro (France). We pack food, clothes, tools, headlamps, and first aid kits. We leave at 7:00am taking three mototaxi’s to Cordillera Escalera which is about 20 minutes away. This is the entrance to the preservation center, an area of 150,000 hectares of protected land. Marienith is there waiting for us with a monkey. The monkey is not supposed to be here and we are trying to get him back to the animal rescue center. He had followed a volunteer from Cerelias back to Tarapoto. After a few banana bites he starts following us through the jungle.

It is not long before we approach our first river crossing, maybe only ten minutes. We go down a few steps and have to cross a waterfall section with no rocks poking out to step on. I was feeling pretty confident at this point, as I got to the halfway point and was doing great. Then came my first stumble. There is a dip near the center and the water is rushing so fast that you can’t see where your feet are going. My ankle twisted and I fell on my knee. Good thing Tom was there catching me otherwise I would have just gone down the waterfall. This river was already commanding respect. I now realized that this is a pretty serious situation and that I need to be extremely careful and alert on this hike.

I make it across with a small scratch on my knee, the bottom of my backpack wet, and a little shook up, but otherwise ok. We continue our hike up hill stopping only once for a short rest. We cross the river 13 more times and the water was about waste high. The rocks are very slippery and some of the paths are very narrow. We saw some amazing plants, some brilliant red roots, gorgeous spider webs, colorful butterflies and a small poison frog that was yellow at the feet and faded to green and blue at the top with black lace-like design. We hear so many birds and the rushing sound of the powerful Rio Mayo is on loop.

After three hours we make it over the last river crossing. I see a shorter middle aged man with glasses and a green shirt ready to greet us near the middle of the hill. It’s Orlando and a volunteer. As we approach, the monkey that came with us back from Tarapoto recognizes the volunteer from before and goes to jump on him. We tried to get the monkey back for a while but he decided to follow the volunteer back again to Tarapoto as we continued our hike up to the Rescue area. These monkeys are really tricky to deal with and since they are not locked up or tied down, it can be difficult to keep them at the Rescue when people come and go.

We are greeted by at least 4 monkeys above us in the trees as we are entering the Rescue area. They are small capuchin monkeys, so curious and excited to have new people with them. Some jump on us as we make our way to the safe netted structure where we can leave our things. Quickly I realize that jewelry of any sort is not something I want to wear around these guys. I put my things down after prying three monkeys off me and quickly go back out to be with the monkeys. I’m super excited at this point and I see a cute black spider monkey making it’s way over to me from the trees. His name is Martino and he makes the cutest sounds like he is laughing the whole time. His hands are like suede and his face is more expressive than that of humans with the innocence of a toddler. I’m in love!!! I am now his personal jungle gym. The other monkeys come to me also with high curiosity, picking through my hair and nibbling everywhere. I start to wonder how we are going to get anything done because all I want to do is play with these babies!

I go inside to join the others for dinner and find four very small monkeys in the kitchen eating there fermented rice dinner. They look like a cross between a squirrel and a rat with white mustaches and cool brown, black and white design patterns on their bodies. They are pretty friendly and jump on our backs and when they are done eating the escape the house and back up the trees to the jungle.

Update From Tom

As you can see by the video. The entire trip was quite a bit of monkey business. It was a constant but playful battle trying to get all the work done with all the monkeys trying to play their games with us, while we worked hard to get the building erected in a reasonable amount of time, considering we were on a short supply of food and other rations. The monkeys were amazing, and taught us all so much, about getting back to the playful nature of life. Trevor at one point in the trip was quoted as saying that the monkeys in the trip, were all a metaphorical representation of all the monkeys on our backs, that have attached to us in main stream society. Tom then added that just like these monkeys as well, we can either fight with them to get them off, play with them and they will stay forever, or we can focus on the misson not giving them to much energy and they will play for a short time and run off to more entertaining things. Whatever path and option we may choose, the mokeys serve to teach us many things. Not always good or bad, but what you make it, a learning experience.

The way back was somewhat dangerous, as it is already somewhat a danger to cross a river 14 times. However this time it would start to rain pretty early on in the trip back. So not only would the rocks be more slippery, as we were carrying all our gear across this rushing river. But we would have to go fast, and race against the clock. Because if we didnt make it in time, the downpour would eventually build up to cause the river to be impassable. Then we would be stuck in the middle of the jungle, for up to even days, depending on the rain schedule. Luckily we had two locals to help guide us, and attend to any of us that were having troubles, or that may take a spill, which happened quite a few times…. The trip was beautiful none the less. We crossed the last time about 10 minutes before it would have been too late. The down pour ensued, and the river went so high that the bridge would be taken out again. The rest of our team who had to stay to finish up would be stuck for another 4 days due to the rain…. We were really just in the nick of time…. Stay tuned for our next adventures.

This first location (since completed successfully there will be contract 15 more) was in a remote spot deep in the jungle. We required 12 trained men to carry the heavy and bulky material.

We have since had to make a number of modifications to the original design, due to its very high amount of interaction with curious monkeys.
